Yarn weight: Fingering (14 wpi)
Gauge: 34 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette in the round, smaller needles
Needle sizes:
US 1½ - 2.5 mm
US 2 - 2.75 mm
Sizes available: 5.6", 7", 8.5" circumference unstretched.
Pattern includes three sizes for fingering weight, as well as designers notes for how they were also knit in worsted weight with a different gauge and stitch count.
You’ll use stranded colorwork using an included chart, on the leg only a standard heel flap and gusset and a rounded wedge toe. (But feel free to substitute your favorite heel)
Gauge recommended for smaller needle size + needles one size larger to knit the colorwork section.

Sample uses Manos del Uruguay Alegría. Any fingering weight yarn can be substituted in similar quantities.
